VTCT Level 3 in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
The online VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology is a knowledge-based qualification which will provide you with a solid foundation to pursue a career in skin & aesthetic treatments.
Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology is often the building block course required for many Skin & Aesthetic qualifications, Clinical products, & advanced machines.
This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the organisation of the body, including the structure, function and pathologies of the skin, hair and nails.
You will also learn about the structure, function and pathologies of the human body systems including, the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive system.
This qualification is online based using our easy to use online learning platform which consists of lessons, powerpoints, practice exams & a full manual that will support your learning working towards your VTCT final
exams.
Course Structure
The theory for this course will be completed online through our easy to study webinars, powerpoints & study manuals to download. Once you have submitted your written assignments you can book theory exam. There is no practical for this unit.
You will need to complete:
Written Assessment:
This assessment will need to be submitted through the online portal to be marked and passed before moving to your final theory exams.
Knowledge exams:
You will need to sit 2 final theory exams. Each paper will take up to 2 hours. 70% pass rate is required.
Once you have sat our exams and have achieved pass criteria your portfolio work assignments submitted online and any other correspondence will be marked and checked over by our assessor.
We will then apply to our awarding body VTCT for your qualification certificate

• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the nervous system

• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the cardiovascular system
• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the lymphatic system
• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the digestive system
• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the urinary system
• The anatomy, physiology and pathologies of the reproductive system
It is recommended that this course requires approx 95 hours of distanced learning which will be combined by completing our online training programme, assignments & sole study.
You will be required to complete an assignment and pass the practice exam prior to sitting the two final external online exams.
There is no set study times for this particular VTCT course however you will be given a timescale of 6 months to complete this course from online platform registration.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To gain your VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology, & Pathology you will need to complete all 12 modules and pass two Final theory exams online.

By gaining this qualification, you will then meet VTCT's entry requirements to process onto our VTCT level 4 Advanced courses
